2024 Retreat Applications Now Open!

We are excited to announce that our applications for our October Beautifully Flawed Women’s Retreat (BFR) Forge Men’s Retreat for those with limb difference are now open! This year, the two retreats will be held back to back, with each consisting of four days during October 22 – 30, 2024 in Del Mar, California. Specific dates for each retreat to be announced.

New and returning attendees, as well as and leader applications are available for both retreats. If you or someone you know is a young man or woman with limb difference and could benefit from these adaptive and healing retreats, please have them apply! The application deadline for Friday, May 31, 2024.

Requirements:

Beautifully Flawed Retreat Attendee:
– Must be a female between the ages of 14 – 25
– Lost at least one limb/congenital amputee

The Forge Retreat Attendee:
– Must be a male between the ages of 14 – 35
– Lost at least one limb/congenital amputee

Attendee costs are $775 for retreat fees + travel. Retreat fees cover housing, food, transportation, and activities for the four days of the retreats, as well as transportation to and from the airport. We are not responsible for your travel to Del Mar, CA or housing beyond the retreat times. The retreats usually begin around 3pm on the first day and end around 10am on the last day. These times are subject to change, and will be announced to the accepted attendees as we get closer to the retreats.

Retreat Leader:
– Must have attended at least one previous Beautifully Flawed/Forge retreat

Important Dates:

– Friday, March 15th, 2024: Applications Open
– Friday, May 31, 2024: Applications Close
– Monday, June 17th, 2024: Applicants notified of acceptance (this date is subject to change)
 October 22-30, 2024: The 2024 Forge Retreat and Beautifully Flawed Retreats

Each retreat will be 4 days long and the two retreats will be held separately.
