We’re Almost There… But We Need Help!

This Sunday, May 23, we check in 14 attendees to our private retreat in Kauai to kick off our much awaited Beautifully Flawed Retreat! We couldn’t be more relieved or elated to finally host our 8th annual retreat after a break of schedule in 2020 due to pandemic lockdowns. Overcoming a most challenging year, we feel more resilient and ready than ever to make this the best experience yet.

After the recent relief of travel restrictions, we have been hurriedly making arrangements for this retreat and have been incredibly blessed and encouraged by the outpouring of support. But we need to ask you for your help! We are still about $6,000 shy of our budget for this retreat and would like to ask you to consider supporting this rapidly approaching event.

Our campaign for giving opportunities in this event cover the following target funds:

  • Attendee Scholarship
  • Surf Day
  • Fitness Team
  • Banquet
  • Hair & Makeup Team
  • Nutrition
  • Media Team

These giving funds were created so that our supporters may participate more specifically in the financial support of our organization and so that we could articulate the precise ways in which we utilize donations.

This retreat has been highly anticipated, not only by our staff but most of all by the girls and young women who have endured an arguably greater loss than many during the last year. Experiencing limb loss is never easy, but these individuals have faced the added challenges produced by the pandemic lockdowns with less resources of support available to their circumstance. We were grieved not to serve them in the full capacity of community provision last year and are therefore all the more glad to serve in leadership and joy as we encourage these women towards purpose-filled living.

We have secured a private and luminous resort for this retreat and are committed to providing a safe and loving environment for our participants. We ask that you will prayerfully consider a commitment to financially contribute towards this event as the gracious enablers of our service through the Beautifully Flawed Foundation.

Mahalo!
