A Message from the Beautifully Flawed Board of Directors

Aloha friends of the Beautifully Flawed Foundation,

For more than a decade the mission of Beautifully Flawed Foundation has been to encourage a broken world and offer hope to overcome through Jesus Christ. This organization was founded out of Bethany Hamilton’s experiences and victories. Bethany is a world class professional surfer who lost her arm to a shark bite at the age of 13. Despite this traumatic experience, she found the strength to overcome in Christ. Not allowing her accident to define her, she has chosen to have her identity anchored by the love of Christ. From this place of freedom and joy, the Beautifully Flawed Foundation was founded to serve others in times of difficulty.

As we look at the world we live in, Beautifully Flawed Foundation believes there is a longing within every individual to overcome the trials, pain, and difficulties of life. We have had the privilege to meet and serve thousands of hurting and beautiful people throughout the years. Seeing their lives restored as they gain hope for a brighter future brings us incredible joy.

A ministry like this doesn’t take place without the commitment of an incredible team. But much like life, team dynamics often change. Sarah Hill has served as the Beautifully Flawed Foundation Executive Director for the last seven years and we are grateful for her incredible years of service! As the Board of Directors looked to the future, the decision was made to make a change in leadership. We wish Sarah all the best in her new endeavours as she will no doubt continue to make a difference in the lives of those she touches.

Moving ahead, the Beautifully Flawed Foundation Board of Directors is seeking a new Executive Director who will lead the organization to new heights. We have a wonderful team in place and plan to have no interruptions to the services, programs, and events we provide.

We look forward to the future as we seek to serve our community better than ever in the coming year. We remain committed to offering hope and healing to those who are hurting and sharing the overcoming power of Jesus with those in need of hope.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and love at this time. We can’t wait to reach more individuals in 2025. This community is incredible and the best is yet to come!

“In the world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Sincerely yours,
The Beautifully Flawed Foundation Board of Directors
